After having goldfish for over 5 years I decided to put the information that I now know into this site.

I am very excited to be bringing you the gold fish tanks a site for fish hobbyist. In this site I am going to give you any fish facts that I think are important. I will also throw in facts about a fish pond that I use to have.

• Size: they can be 5 inches to 3 feet long. My Goldfish is about 15inches
• Life Span: I have read up to 60 years. My goldfish is over 5 years.
• Diet: They will eat anything. Mine seem to like tropical fish food from petsmart.
• Water Temperature: if you can don't let the water get below 64 degrees and done let it get above 75 degrees F. However where I live in the summer it can hit 100 degrees. As long as you have water pumps the fish should survive.
• Tank size: At the moment I have one goldfish that is full adult size in a 20 gallon tank. The fish seems ok with it.
